With the exhibition “Als de Russen komen” (“When the Russians come”), the National Military Museum in Soest shines a spotlight on a theme that is more topical than ever: the Netherlands and the Cold War. The project looks back at a turbulent period of international tension and sets it against today’s political frictions. I wrote a review of the exhibition for Spasibo Magazine.-
